“All Citizens of One World” – Outlook Pasadena

First published in the January 27 print issue of Pasadena Outlook.

Primary school is a pivotal time in a child’s life. This is their first encounter with structured learning, and the experience will be a determining factor in whether they like school and find the learning process rewarding.
The International School of Los Angeles challenges students and sets them on a solid footing for the rest of their school career. Our program builds on the traditional essentials of reading, writing and math. Since our community is international, we emphasize social studies and the concept that we are all citizens of one world.
Serving 145 K-5 students, our Pasadena campus is conveniently located in the heart of Pasadena. Exuding old-world charm with its intimate size and beautiful landscaping, the campus consists of a two-story building with 11 classrooms, a bilingual library, computer lab, and dedicated outdoor dining and play areas .
We are proud of our tight-knit community and do everything we can to serve our parents and students with extensive childcare services available, a formal study hall program to help students with homework and get extra help, and an after-school enrichment program. designed to broaden the student experience.
