National Alliance Brings CISR High School Program to Laredo School District with 2022 Spencer Educational Foundation Grant

AUSTIN, TX, January 26, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research is a proud recipient of a 2022 Spencer Educational Foundation grant to support and develop the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) High School Program (HSP). The HSP is a growing initiative that anticipates the changing talent needs of the industry through comprehensive student exposure and education, developing and diversifying the talent pool at an early stage. Specifically, the grant provides first-year funding to three new schools in Laredo, Texas and one in Township of Perry, Indiana.

Founded in 1979, the Spencer Educational Foundation is the first national organization to fund the training of future risk management and insurance (RMI) professionals. The general grants support two essential objectives of the RMI industry: providing experiential learning opportunities for RMI students and attracting new talent to the industry.
