Bombay : Ahaan Shah of Orchids, Year 3 Student – The International School, Orlem, Mumbai Branch is now an official record holder in India’s Book of Records. Ahaan, 8, beat his name in the prestigious record as the youngest child to recite 128 first aid sutras from Ashtadhyayi Sutra Paath in 3 minutes 14 seconds and 128 milliseconds.

Principal Jayashri Bhake, Orchids – The International School, Malad West Branch said: “It is always a pleasure to see our students achieve the glories of success and personal accomplishment. At Orchids – The International School, we are proud of Ahaan’s achievement. We are also delighted to see his enthusiasm and passion for learning the Sanskrit language. At Orchids, we believe in nurturing students’ inhibited academic and extracurricular activities to help them bring out the best version of themselves. Needless to say, while students at a young age are given the freedom to explore themselves, they, by default, behave like maestros and create success stories.

Ahaan developed her interest in learning the Sanskrit language at the age of 4 and now pursues her passion at the advanced level of the language. Apart from his fondness for learning the ancient language of India, Ahaan has also got a head start in the top three competitions like preschool bee, olympiads or chess competitions.

Ahaan’s achievement has made his family, friends and school proud and has inspired many like-minded people to reach great milestones at a very tender age with courage and determination. Orchids – The International School prides itself on nurturing and adding to the holistic development of each of its students and building responsible individuals and future-ready global citizens.
