Our Philosophy

As an international school, our community reflects the diversity of many cultural backgrounds.

The primary department has very close links with the secondary department as do both with the nursery department. so that children and youth have access to each other at community services or school events.

Our ethos and philosophy captures the spirit of happy, aspiring and respectful young people.

These actions define and determine our character:

  • To advance the education and intellectual and moral development of our students, regardless of their abilities, attributes and interests
  • Ensuring the well-being and safety of our students as individuals and as members of a community
  • Celebrating diversity and global citizenship
  • Encourage open-mindedness and reflection among our students and our School

Student care

Our young people are encouraged and guided to learn the instincts of courtesy and good manners while developing a moral code and practicing to live it for their adult life. We help them discover and develop self-confidence so that they are ready to develop their strength and ingenuity to meet the challenges of everyday life. Their healthy mindset allows them to have transferable interests and activities in an international and mixed setting where they learn and practice friendship skills by participating in a wide range of European activities and projects.

WHY would parents choose ISN?

Some of the most important decisions parents will make relate to their child’s education. They would like their child’s school to achieve the same goals of high academic achievement while being supported by pastoral care. Some parents may want their child’s school to reflect the values of their family and community. In other words, they would like to choose a school that suits their child and their future.
