AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
FALL 2021 (Monday September 7 to Friday December 17)
Spring 2022 (Monday January 3 to Friday May 13)
Registration begins MONDAY, August 23 – No referral or endorsement is needed for your child to register!
WHO: KINDERGARTEN – 6TH YEAR
WHAT: A fun and educational opportunity for ALL students. In this program, students will receive a snack, recess, academic block, and fun block.
WHEN: Monday – Friday 3:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.
WHERE: Hugoton Elementary School
WHY: Provide a FUN and SAFE place for students to learn and socialize before going home
HOW? ‘OR’ WHAT: Students will be divided into groups by grade level with 1 teacher and 1 high school assistant. There will be daily activities designed to be fun while meeting some of the critical learning needs of students.
One form must be completed per student
MEET THE DIRECTOR
Sam McIntosh, of Denver, CO. She has resided for almost 4 years in Hugoton, KS. Sam holds a bachelor’s degree in animal science from the University of Wyoming. Prior to working for $210 from May 2021, Sam held several management positions at Seaboard Foods as well as veterinary technicians and secretarial work at the Animal Health Center. In May, Sam accepted the position of Camp Explore Director for the summer of 2021. This summer has helped her develop her love for planning fun and engaging activities for all students. Sam is excited to take on the post of director after school and has many plans to keep the kids excited throughout the year.
FUN FACTS: Usually chill, played at the 2017 World Lacrosse Games and loves the chance to work cattle with her fiancé Lance.
