The Genrich International School logo was launched at a hotel in the capital’s Banani on Monday.
A concern of STS Group, Glenrich, an English middle school located in Satarkul of Badda in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, aims to meet changing educational needs and prepare children for future workplaces, a statement said. Press.
STS Group Managing Director Khondoker Monir Uddin and STS Group Managing Director Manas Singh unveiled the brand logo in front of reporters.
Ramesh Murgal, Principal of Glenrich, has over 25 years of teaching experience in different international schools in South Asian countries, said: “With the experience under my belt, I will work to make Glenrich a pioneer on the education scene in Bangladesh. We have a comprehensive and collaborative curriculum, allowing students to solve real-life problems.
Students will take a three-year French course in their program, in collaboration with Alliance Française de Dhaka, while STEMROBO Educational Technology Company will take care of teaching robotics.
Math Buddy will run the math labs, while the Associated Council of the Royal Schools of Music will take care of music education, Ramesh added.
STS CEO Manas Singh explained STS Group’s plans for its education projects.
“We have worked for the past 25 years to bring about effective change in our education sector. Within this framework, we plan to launch four schools to provide quality education,” he said.
Glenrich is the first phase, and the next three schools target students from Purbachal, Sylhet and Chattogram, Manas added.
Tuition fees for primary school to twelfth grade will range from Tk 18,000 to Tk 25,000.
Board members and management teams of STS Group and their education concerns including DPS STS School Dhaka and International School Dhaka among others attended the event.
