Letter to the editor: Morand for the school committee

It is with real enthusiasm that I write to support Holly Morand for the school committee. Holly is a thoughtful, intelligent and knowledgeable candidate whom I have the pleasure of knowing through her outstanding work with the Hopkinton Freedom team. I’ve seen Holly help people in crisis, calm a room, lead a large group, and ensure that all voices are heard on issues that impact our entire community. She is a fair and strong advocate who is committed to doing what is best for our schools.

Holly comes to the table with a wealth of experience, from her work as a community social worker while working directly with youth in our community, her time leading local organizations, her vast applied science and analytical skills in her careers past and present, or his years of volunteering with local government committees. Her professional and community experience will serve to ensure thoughtful and transparent collaboration with the community and Hopkinton Public Schools administration, and she has excelled in her other roles as a voice for experience, equity and sincerity. Hopkinton Public Schools, and indeed the entire community, will greatly benefit if Holly joins the Hopkinton School Committee.

— Stacia Friedrich Krozy, Hopkinton
