Westview Cambodian International School becomes official IELTS test center

Westview Cambodian International School became an official exam location for the IELTS Alliance program on Tuesday after signing a memorandum of understanding with IDP Education’s official IELTS Cambodia test center.

“We are delighted to welcome Westview Cambodian International School as an IELTS testing location under the global IELTS Alliance programme.

“This MoU reflects the growing awareness of the importance of English language proficiency assessment for study and career advancement at leading educational institutions in Cambodia.

“We look forward to working with Westview Cambodian International School to increase the number of students taking the IELTS test,” said Sreng Mao, National Director of IELTS Cambodia.

The MoU was signed at Westview International School in Phnom Penh.

“Having an IELTS testing location on the campus of Westview Cambodian International School has shown our school’s commitment to shaping our students’ English skills to meet the acceptance requirements of international universities around the world. whole.

IELTS is the most popular English language test in the world, with over three million tests taken in the past year and over 11,000 institutions worldwide – including universities, schools, employers , immigration authorities and professional bodies – recognizing IELTS as a benchmark for English proficiency.

IELTS is jointly owned by the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and Cambridge Assessment English. The official IELTS Cambodia test center – established in 1992 by IDP: IELTS – is the oldest test center in the Kingdom.
